Fabric and Notions Sources

Finding quality fabric or fabrics that are appropriate for a specific project can be a challenge, but it is very possible.

Local stores, consignment shops or used clothing stores, dry goods stores, Grandma's attic, and visits to the fabric district in a nearby city (what a great field trip!)  are all good sources of textiles that can be used in sewing projects.

If you choose to shop on-line, there are numerous sources of hard-to-find fabrics, interfacings, and notions.   Where trade names appear, no discrimination is intended, and no endorsement by Penn State, the College of Agricultural Sciences or Penn State Cooperative Extension is implied.  We provide these links simply for your convenience.
